This repository is for work-in-progress development: it mainly contains topic branches wich are rebased, renamed & deleted all the time.

The branch 'master' is special and is the same as in the 'sparse' tree: https://github.com/lucvoo/sparse. The branch 'tip' is also special and can be considered as a candidate for master but is still rebased all the time.

Except for 'master', the only time where a branch here is stable is when the corresponding series have been posted on the mailing list with a link to here and "available saying for review and/or testing". In this case, the branch will remain stable for a reasonable review and if I received some feedback which need a change, I'll post an update with "-v1, -v2" appended to the name of the branch so it's still easy to compare them.

When the branch is considered good enough, it is merged in the 'master' branch of the 'sparse' tree which is never rebased, well tested and has no topic branches. The 'master' branch is then updated here too and the topic branch that was merged is deleted.

In short, everything here must be considered as ephemeral and of unknown quality. OTOH, the 'sparse' tree is stable & well tested.
