I'm seeing a new use case for adding background colours to tiles (being used as headers) to help visually create sections in the dashboard.

Out of interest, would a 'heading' tile type be useful to you?

I've made an assumption there that having 'no background colour' feels nicer, but I'd love to know what sorts of colours you're thinking? Is it based on branding?

I'm quite happy using Markdown tiles as section headings. The only issue is that for a really long "Management dashboard" with multiple sections, the report gets very white and it's hard to differentiate between different sections (e.g. Sales, Marketing, etc.) or different subsections.

The ability to set plain RGB/HEX background colours will be great. There is a workaround which is for me to create graphics (of a text on a coloured background), but this would be very painful to do.

This is one of the workarounds I had to do - create an image, upload it, and insert it into a tile.

Just added a comment on another entry which is similar to this. Big fan of where this is going.
