Thanks for reporting this. I was able to reproduce it on macOS 14.4.1 and 14.5.

I'm not completely sure the fix will work on every version of macOS that Background Music supports, but it's unlikely 13.x and earlier 14.x versions were affected, so they should be fine with or without the fix.
