KotCity Roadmap

Next up:

  • Add more level 2 - 5 buildings
  • Hook crime to population / desirability / land value
  • Schools / education
  • Hospitals / health
  • Make user able to set ordinances / tax per district
  • In game radio to fade between soundtrack files
    • Add triggers for populations / other conditions to trigger music

  • Attractions (Zoo / Stadium / Park)
  • Education / Schools
  • "Districts" from Cities: Skylines where we can set taxes and stuff separate for areas of the city
  • "Building Modules / Upgrades" like from SC2013
  • Each item should cost $ <--- big one :)
  • Charts on population, total money on hand
  • More ways to produce power (hydro, wind, solar, ...)
  • Mines (buildings using the map resources like coal, ...)
  • Sound effects and music
  • Mod system (similar to Steam Workshop)

Stretch goals

  • Better map gen (River / coast)
  • Import elevation data from API so users can play in their hometown
  • Improved graphics
