Steps to reproduce

  • Using web app (http://robko.ch/qr-designer)
  • Upload any PNG or JPG under 5mb in size
  • See uploaded image available beneath file upload field
  • Drag and drop image onto QR code
  • BUG - Image is not uploaded to QR code preview, no errors are thrown in the console either

I'm not sure if I'm being stupid while trying to do this, but I have now tried with 5 different images, a variety of PNGs and JPGs. None of them appear to work.

Have you tried other browsers?

I've tried on the following OS / browsers:

  • Windows / Chrome Not working
  • Windows / Edge Not working
  • Windows / Firefox Working as expected
  • Mac / Chrome Working as expected

I will see if I can try Windows / Firefox quickly, but it looks as though it could be a Windows OS issue?

Edit: Tested Windows / Firefox, can confirm it works. So I can confirm the issue is only present on Windows OS for Chrome and Edge

Edit 2: It's worth noting that the performance in Windows / Firefox is abysmal. It could be my machine but making any changes to a 4kb PNG takes up to 20 seconds for the page to update. Any attempts to make more than one change at once crashes Firefox.
