I don't like to add new threads and most often I just want to reset current context and start new chat. Using mouse for that is tedious.

Add keyboard shortcuts to clean and to delete current thread.

What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?

keyboard shortcuts for existing features.
Alternatively, create a way to add custom shortcuts for various actions besides standard shortcuts already there.
