C Calisthenics is designed to provide a comprehensive exploration of modern C features and best practices through a series of structured examples across multiple chapters. Each chapter focuses on different aspects of C , ranging from basic concepts to advanced programming techniques.
- Chapter 1: Basic Concepts
- Variables and Types, Flow Control, Functions and Recursion, Basic Input and Output
- Chapter 2: Object-Oriented Programming
- Classes and Objects, Inheritance and Polymorphism, Operator Overloading
- Chapter 3: Standard Library
- STL Containers, Iterators and Algorithms, Smart Pointers and Memory Management
- Chapter 4: Advanced Topics (not directly executable from the main menu)
- Templates and Generics, Exception Handling, Concurrent Programming
- Chapter 5: Concurrent and Network Programming
- Multithreading and Concurrency, Network Programming Basics (currently disabled)
- Chapter 6: Design Patterns and Best Practices
- Common Design Patterns, Code Optimization Techniques
- Chapter 7: Modern C Features and Practices
- Modern C Features, Using Modern Libraries and Frameworks (currently disabled)
- A C compiler supporting C 17 or higher (e.g., GCC, Clang, MSVC)
- CMake 3.10 or higher for building the project
- (Optional) Boost libraries installed if you wish to enable Chapter 7's second half
