The TypeExpr PEP draft is nearly done (as of 2024-07-05) and should be implemented soon:

  • Alter signatures of public functions to accept TypeExpr from typing_extensions or from Python 3.14
  • Alter documentation to refer to "TypeExpr" rather than "TypeForm"
