I like that our website is very clean and simple to find useful information.

There are two sections that I think deserve more love, and could be revamped before we have Cylc 8 alpha out - we would have to do that anyway due to screenshots being of the old GUI, plus new features coming, old ones going away.

We can look at how other solutions present their features, and try to organize in a simple way (as the rest of our site). And for the screen shots I think we should just update the screen shots, and maybe add a few GIF's or videos too.

@sadielbartholomew might be able to help how to present this information to users (I reckon you had interest in UX Sadie, this might be an interesting challenge perhaps?).

Cheers

Well anticipated, we will need to update the Screenshots section for Cylc 8. In fact, since we hope to implement user interface automation testing including visual regression tests, with Selenium or similar, we will eventually have (or could implement sooner inspired by) the capability for taking, for taking automated screenshots at a sensible regular interval so they will remain up-to-date despite the many changes I am sure will come along post-Cylc-8.

I agree that the Features page could also be improved. Looking at other software projects' sites for inspiration is a great idea.

I would be more than happy to take this on, but it would be low priority so it depends when I can find some time. Thanks for suggesting me though, I would indeed find it interesting.
