FWIW, I played around a bit with Insubstantial tonight and added an example or how to use it for Look and Feel (https://github.com/daveray/seesaw/tree/develop/examples/substance). At some point I'll look more closely at the custom widgets and stuff and maybe do a more first-class integration.
