Hi Heidi:
Yes, our local mapping is mostly complete for respiratory machines and it requires a lot of help from clinical people. We are still expanding the mapping to more devices. It would be great if we could collect more information from each site and have a better mapping system.

This looks great Chester. It looks like most of your devices are for diabetic dialysis, and respiratory. You're using that for mapping local codes into OMOP table device_exposure, correct?
For MGB there is a devices list per department and room that at a high level has these devices listed below. I've reached out to our PI and clinicians to get an idea from your example of what types of things we should find in our EHR data to populate the records used in lookup for OMOP table device_exposure.
GE Solar 8000i
General Electric_SOLAR 8000M
Capsule Ventilator
GE B850
MGB Pupillometer
Philips Monitor
GE DASH 4000
GE DASH 3000
GE Monitor
GE Carescape B850

Hi Folks:
As Heidi and Gills suggested that we might want to have a discussion about
Devices
mapping review. Please feel free to upload your local Devices mapping table here and we could compare, merge and have a better ideas of the Athena codes used for Devices.
