An issue was detected on the main branch of media3 within the demo application. It has been confirmed that this issue can be replicated across all versions of the operating system that have been tested, including Android versions 9, 12, and 14. @rohitjoins black screen occurred around - 14:57:43 to 14:58:33,and 15:00:44 to 15:00:51 |

We are currently conducting tests on live DRM-protected content playback using the ExoPlayer demo application. As part of our setup, we have activated the multi-session DRM flag to facilitate the playback of the content. This is the sole modification made at the code level.
During our testing, we observed that the content plays without interruption for approximately 30 to 40 minutes or more, after which the screen turns black for a few seconds before the content resumes on its own. Unfortunately, we were unable to glean any specific details from the logs, except for entries indicating a "bad index."
Additionally, we noticed that both video and audio rendering are temporarily disabled and then re-enabled.
