When I do pacman-key --refresh-keys (on the default sks keyserver , tested also with the pgp.mit.edu keyserver) it fails with the message "gpg: keyserver refresh failed. ERROR: A specified local key cannot be updated from a keyserver"

June 17 refers to the June release of 2017, not the date. See https://github.com/alwsl/alwsl/releases

Hey :) I see this is still an issue in the June17 release. Any ideas?

This issue isn't alwsl specific and happens in every of my attempts to install arch in WSL using manual methods, hope that helps finding it

It seems to be a bug since gnupg 2.1.17.
Downgrade gnupg would partially solve the problem (wait for upstream updates).
