Manage invites and provide an easy to use QR code for check-in
Begin by cloning the repository and running the following commands:
cd Invite-Manager
python3 -m venv venv
. venv/bin/activate
pip install Flask
pip install Flask-mysqldb
pip install Flask-WTF
pip install passlib
pip install Flask-QRcode
mysql.server start
This will create a virtual environment and install dependencies
Next you need to create a database in mysql and create a file called 'db-info' in the src directory and fill it out like so
Line 1: secret key (make it anything)
Line 2: mysql ip (localhost if own machine)
Line 3: mysql username
Line 4: mysql password
Line 5: mysql database name
python3 app.py [-d] [-r] [-h]
[-d][--debug]: Debug Mode
[-r][--register]: Enable User Registration
[-h][--help]: Show Usage
Warning: Enabling the debugger may leave you open to exploits.
This app has a demo docker image (vrend/invite_manager)
The docker image may be behind a few commits
Run it with this command: docker run -d -p your_port:5000 vrend/invite_manager
