Our generalized conceptual model distinguishes measurements made in the field ("data acquisition" or raw data result) from measurements resulting from processing the raw data to produce a final result (processed measurement), eg:
In Phase 1 we adapted the existing Test structure in DIGGS to accommodate processed measurements. This single structure is used for all processed results, regardless of method, and a single procedure object was created to describe processing steps taken to go from the raw data results to the processed results.
Can we similarly define one (or perhaps more) observation structures (including procedure object) to handle raw data? I'd like to avoid having to develop a specialized observation/procedure structure for each method, but what might work? It may not be possible to do this with one structure but possible combinations may be:
Can we develop a single procedure object much like ProcessedGeophysicalSurvey used for processed measurements or do we need specializations?
