Describe the bug
I can import the following chordpro file on Windows, but it"s not working on Linux (Linux Mint 22). Empty slideshow is created

Reproducing
Create a file on Linux with the following content:

# A simple ChordPro song.

{title: Swing Low Sweet Chariot}

{start_of_chorus}
Swing [D]low, sweet [G]chari[D]ot,
Comin? for to carry me [A7]home.
Swing [D7]low, sweet [G]chari[D]ot,
Comin? for to [A7]carry me [D]home.
{end_of_chorus}

I [D]looked over Jordan, and [G]what did I [D]see,
Comin? for to carry me [A7]home.
A [D]band of angels [G]comin? after [D]me,
Comin? for to [A7]carry me [D]home.

{comment: Chorus}

Import the file, empty song is created (expected song with one verse and one chorus)

Version (Optional)

  • OS: Linux Mint 22
  • FreeShow Version: 1.3.3

There should not have been a difference related to this on Windows/Linux..

What if you try importing this ChordPro format as "Text" file, does that work the same on Linux as Windows, or is that also empty on Linux?

If I import my ChordPro file as "Text" file, it works perfectly

Can"t recreate. Are you sure the ChordPro file contents on Linux are 100% the same?
