Code of Conduct

We value the participation of each member of the community and want all contributors to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all contributors and maintainers are expected to show respect and courtesy to others throughout their involvement in the project.

Our Standards 🌟

  • Be Respectful 🤝: Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other participants. Harassment and other exclusionary behavior aren't acceptable.

  • Be Considerate 💭: Think about how your contribution will affect others in the community.

  • Be Collaborative 🤗: Work with other contributors to ensure the community is achieving more together.

  • Be Professional 👩‍💼: Maintain professionalism in all interactions. Avoid behavior that could be perceived as inappropriate in a professional setting.

  • Accept Responsibility 🙌: Accept responsibility for your actions. If someone has been harmed or offended, listen carefully and respectfully, and work to right the wrong.

Unacceptable Behavior ❌

The following behaviors are considered harassment and are unacceptable:

  • Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion.

  • Sexual images in public spaces

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following

  • Harassing photography or recording

  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events

  • Inappropriate physical contact

  • Unwelcome sexual attention

  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior

Reporting Issues 📢

If you experience or observe a violation of the Code of Conduct, or have any other concerns, please reach out to us immediately. You can create a new discussion regarding your concerns at Perilif Discussions.

Enforcement 🛡️

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may result in the offender being temporarily banned or permanently expelled from the community. The final decision on appropriate actions rests with the project maintainers.

Conclusion

This Code of Conduct applies to all participants in the project, in all project-related spaces, both online and off. Anyone who violates this code can be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the project maintainers.
