I'm worrying about similarities with the Linux and the Docker logos.

How about an elephant since they remember everything? Dolphins, too. Lester the dolphin?

A dolphin ... a lot more nimble than that clumsy whale-morphed-into-container-ship Docker logo. Nice!

Elephant ... that, unfortunately, is taken. https://www.postgresql.org :)
