Emoji core is a pure Kotlin library that fetches all emojis supported in the latest Unicode standard 15.1 (Updated as on 2023 September 12).

Latest version can be found here

1. Add it in your root build.gradle at the end of repositories:

allprojects {
    repositories {
        maven { url "https://jitpack.io" }
    }
}

2. Add dependency to module build.gradle

dependencies {
    implementation "com.github.Abhimanyu14:emoji-core:$latest_version"
}

The Main application demonstrates how to use Emoji core to fetch emojis, using coroutines.

For demonstration purposes runBlocking is used. For actual projects call emojiDataSource.getAllEmojis() in a non-blocking coroutine.

Compose Emoji Picker internally uses Emoji Core for fetching the emojis.
