If someone could test this on a physical device and let me know if it works that would be great.

Hope it's okay to Ping @Theorian that the basic support for V3 in openrazer is merged: openrazer/openrazer#1703

the mouse works with another program with them using similar library. but cant seem to make it work with razer_macos

@kimdioven , which program are you mentioning that the Basilisk V3 works with? I'm happy to take a look if it is open source. :) Thank you @CevinEichnau for pinging, no problem, looking now. :)

I could be wrong, but I just compiled from source, and at least the basics work. I downloaded the latest release, and the Basilisk isn't even recognized it seems.

@Theorian, update your forked repo and the conflicting files will be resolved. You will likely have to redo your addition to Readme.md once you do that as well. Also, your addition to yarn.lock isn't integral to this PR, so you don't have to bother with that if you don't want to.

I found your issue. You needed to update the maximum dpi on razerchromacommon.c. You set it correctly on the frontend, but that's outside of the maximum set in razerchromacommon.c. Don't worry I'll add it librazer for you as I'm setting up razerchromacommon.c & razerchromacommon.h as dependencies from openrazer.

Hi guys. any changes about the supporting of the basilisk v3? I just bought it yesterday and discover the incompatibility with macOS... I have a macbook pro from 2018 with macOS Monterey version 12.2.1.

I installed the app, but the mouse is not recognized... i already did multiple times the 'refresh device list' and nothing... restarted the mac to see if it makes a difference, and nothing.... But then i discover that this 'issue' was open... Any news about when you will be able to got it to work with the app???
I'm really appreciate your hard work guys!

@kimdioven i just downloaded the fruitUI but i dont know whats wrong and it doesn't seems to do any changes to the led lights. But can they say that i need to have other things installed for it to work well... can you give me some 'lights'? tks.

@JoanaRoqueOS fruitUI has the same issue for me.. but from other threads it seems that back end support has been added, and only the front end support is left for the Basilisk v3... sooo next update we SHOULD be getting it..

@ANP123C let's hope so... i did the same comment in some other open 'issues' and i had a response from one of it that that one is not for mac users. It was only for the mouse in general but with windows.... So , i was hoping to find a solution to use some utilities from the mouse without having to install the windows in my mac. And of course i will also need to buy a key to have windows... Razer only gave me that solution or that i could return the mouse. I talked to an agent in their chat room.... I wanted a razer mouse for quite a while.. I did my researches but it never appeared to me that i couldn't fully using it with MacOS.... I am so disappointed... I said to them for this i would have bought a 20 euros mouse and it would have done the job, cause i can't use your mouse like you announce it! I think the weren't happy with my response.... but it's the TRUE!!!!!

@JoanaRoqueOS, @ANP123C, I'm working on it... Theorian missed a change needed in the backend for the Basilisk V3. I included it in 1kc/librazermacos#28 which will be merged soon. In terms of the frontend, this PR is dated to the point it has numerous conflicts that must be resolved in order to be merged. All's @Theorian has to do is remove the 3 conflicting files from this PR considering they aren't needed for support anyway.
