This #ThrowbackThursday, we’re exploring the rich history of Yara Thailand! 🇹🇭 Did you know Yara’s connection to Thailand dates back to 1907? 🤔 🌍 That year, during his tour of Europe, King Chulalongkorn visited our plant in Notodden, Norway. Captivated by our pioneering fertilizer technology, the visionary king placed an order, making Thailand our very first international customer! 🤝 In 1973, Yara established its presence in Thailand, a market that remains vital to this day. Here, our dedicated agronomists work hand-in-hand with smallholder farmers and partners in the food value chain to drive resource efficiency and regenerative farming practices. Today, Yara is a trusted name in premium crop segments, including Thailand’s celebrated durian. 🥭 Join us in honoring this historical connection with a glimpse of King Chulalongkorn alongside Yara co-founder Sam Eyde - an iconic image that lives on today, on the 100 baht banknote. 👇
