Our games are dug from beneath the moss and the roots. We make things that are wild, strange and sharp.
Our games are often interested in people, community and our relationship to the world around us. They might have you imagine a fantasy world filled with shambling god-husks or find places to hang out as teenagers in a small town. Whether outlandish or grounded, our games blur the lines between the fantastical and the mundane, the occult and the homely, the absurd and the sincere.
Our games are often experimental and weird. We love making things in those blurred borders between form, moving freely between tabletop rpg, LARP, videogames, boardgames, poem and others, and bringing what we find interesting with us.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON
RYNE brings a wild fantasy world shaped by the titanic husks of gods. It's a patchwork run ragged by the fickle forces of concept and emotion, spirit and destiny. It asks us: what does it mean to be a person here? To build a lives and communities amidst a world in its vibrant dusk?
Ryne is our in development PbtA game, inspired by Earthsea, Studio Ghibli and Shadow of the Colossus. It is coming to Kickstarter sometime 2021. Play the free preview here.
MIXTAPE are our onepage games based on bangers. We take a song that we love (or at least have some kind of strong feeling for) and make a game about it. So far we've made a party game about Dolly Parton's Jolene, a spy thriller based on Careless Whisper, a game about queer cowboys for Old Town Road, and others.
SHAMBLES
furtive shambles started as an infrequent event about strange, provocative and difficult analogue games. We would gather somewhere to play a bunch of games around a theme (the accursed, oceans, business cargo-cults). We have intentions to do more with this in the future, in a way that lets anyone join.
