They contain vitamins, minerals, and organic bio-active ingredients found only in specific seaweeds, which are proven highly beneficial for both adults and children. Their products help boost the immune system and improve gut health. Their specific blend of seaweed extracts are packed with antioxidants, antiviral properties, and important vitamins and minerals including Fucoidan, a special antioxidant found in some seaweeds that helps support the immune system. Their products are based on proven science and are the first to market in 2025 along with a global humanitarian programme “Ocean Aid” built around these formulas to launch globally in 2025. They create “Ocean Forests” of seaweed that benefit the ocean environment and stimulate native species development, sequestering CO2 and energizing the ocean. WOC MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: SeaForester The World Ocean Council membership brings together a diverse range of businesses and finance firms of all sizes - from across the sectors and around the world - in the only global Blue Economy Business and Investment Organization. It is our pleasure to introduce SeaForester, a Portugal—and Norwegian-based ecosystem services company focused on restoring ocean health through large-scale kelp deforestation. Over the past half-century, half the world's kelp forests have disappeared. This is a disaster for marine ecosystems, fishing industries and the climate. SeaForester´s work generates tangible benefits for coastal communities, enhances biodiversity, removes harmful pollutants, and contributes to climate resilience. SeaForester aims to restore what has been destroyed and has set an ambitious target to restore 100,000 hectares of kelp forest by 2040. With novel seaforestation techniques, SeaForester offers companies worldwide to plant “trees” in the ocean and bring life back to our “blue front yard”. Learn more: www.seaforester.org We invite companies, finance firms, entrepreneurs and industry associations not yet involved in our unique global platform to join the WOC Members in advancing "Corporate Ocean Responsibility" leadership, collaboration and action.
