We are thrilled to share a picture of our first atomic cloud ! ☀ This atomic cloud, a beautiful 3 cm ensemble of neutral atoms levitating in a vacuum chamber and trapped by laser beams and magnetic fields, is at the heart of the quantum memory we are developing. ⚛ This extremely elongated shape is heir to the pioneering work of our co-founder and CSO Hardware Julien Laurat, who created the world's most efficient quantum memory at the Laboratoire Kastler Brossel - LKB (Sorbonne Université/CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique/Université PSL). 👨🔬 Not only do we have this stunning cloud of atoms, but it is now part of a fully integrated, automated, and transportable system. Our quantum memory is the central component of our quantum interconnect solution, crucial for the scale-up of quantum computing. 🤝 This milestone is a key step in delivering our quantum memory product only 2 years after the inception of Welinq, bringing us closer to efficient interconnects and distributed quantum computing. Proud of the hard work and dedication of our incredible team. Stay tuned for more results and innovations! 👏 #QuantumComputing #QuantumMemory #Innovation #Technology #Research Tom Darras, Jean Lautier-Gaud, Eleni Diamanti, Quantonation, Runa Capital

#Innovation #Technologie #Attractivite #Startup
