🌍 World Nature Conservation Day 2024 🌿 At Voltalia, we are committed to developing our activities while respecting nature and biodiversity. In 2023, we achieved these milestones:  🔹 44% of MW under construction with environmental impact assessments aligned with IFC standards.  🔹 39% of our installed solar MW located on co-used and upgraded land. Our goal for 2027? To have 50% of our solar MW on co-used and upgraded land, contributing to a greener future. 💚 👉 What is co-used and upgraded land?   Co-use: agrivoltaism, eco-grazing, solar panels on building or car park roofs. Today, Voltalia is proud to support the Realedisha Secondary School in Shawela, Bolobedu - one of the most rural areas in South Africa. 🇿🇦 Our visit revealed the need for a cleaner environment, and as part of our commitment to improving the global environment and fostering local development, we took action: 🔹 Cleaned the school grounds with a team of 15 Voltalians and community members;  🔹 Involved local stakeholders;  🔹 Donated bins to maintain cleanliness and sustainability.
