[Press release] The Group announces today its results for the second quarter 2024 ▶️ Q2 2024 EBITDA of €215m was moderately down sequentially, as expected ▶️ Q2 2024 results reflect strong QoQ recovery in international Tubes volumes, more than offset by weaker US Tubes prices and volumes ▶️ Several significant initiatives underway to realize full earnings potential in Brazil ▶️ International OCTG demand remains at a healthy level and pricing remains strong ▶️ Net debt reduction remains ahead of plan; further reduced to €364 million ▶️ Expect further total cash generation in H2 2024, to be allocated predominantly to shareholder returns in 2025 at the latest. 👉 Read the press release: https://lnkd.in/e8wzGSK7

💡 Vallourec's Prime Mapping solution revolutionized pipe measurement accuracy for a leading oil and gas operator in Australia. By delivering over 60,000 internal diameter (ID) measurements per pipe, with a resolution of up to 0.1 millimeters, the solution enabled the operator to meticulously select the optimal pipes for packer installation. This precision not only facilitates a seamless packer setting process but also significantly mitigates integrity risks and saves time that may otherwise be spent redoing operations in the event that a packer setting fails pressure tests. 💡 Today, July 15th, is the World Youth Skills Day. Did you know that Vallourec is committed to #youthemployment and skills development in all its locations? 🌍  In France, 79 apprentices currently discover our fields of expertise – we have dedicated partnerships with universities such as INSA. 🌏 In Indonesia, Vallourec is targeting students through training support at vocational, diploma and bachelor level to develop their skills in Vallourec’s field of expertise and industrial excellence. Vallourec participated in regional #careerfairs attracting over 700 participants. 🌎 In the US, Vallourec welcomes 12 university students as interns to give them a grasp of our range of expertise in tubular solutions and is actively involved in local school supply drives. 🌎 And last but not least, in Brazil, Vallourec engages with educational institutions to promote our employer branding and enhance the attraction of young talent through our #internship and #apprenticeship programs. In 2024, Vallourec in Brazil has welcomed 424 apprentices and interns so far. Vallourec also commits to gender diversity, acting in all of its locations at high school and university level to attract talented young girls to our industry. 

Vallourec has secured a contract to supply Eneva with more than 4,000 tons of casing and #tubes for the production of onshore natural gas. The low carbon and high performance solutions will be part of exploration and production developments in the #Brazilian states of Maranhão, Amazonas and Mato Grosso do Sul. The 2 companies cultivate a mutual collaboration illustrated by another partnership that provides #renewable #energy for Vallourec’s industrial units in Brazil by means of Eneva’s Futura I Solar Complex. Our #Tubular #Essentials training program, well known to our #customers, adapts to changes in the energy sector! Recognizing the unique #challenges and #opportunities within the #New #Energies sector, we recently hosted a special edition of Tubular Essentials tailored for this audience. 15 participants from 5 different companies attended the event held in Youngstown, Ohio. Tubular Essentials is more than a training program, it’s an #educational #journey that empowers our customers with a deep understanding of the tubular industry. 📢 [Press release] Following a call for tender, Vallourec announces that it has been awarded a contract by TotalEnergies to supply almost 5,000 tonnes of OCTG solutions and associated services for the Kaminho deepwater project on Block 20, 100 km off the coast of Angola.   On this project, Vallourec will supply its world-renowned range of VAM® connections and use CLEANWELL®, its more environmentally-friendly, dope-free solution. The Group will also provide its offshore expertise via VAM® Field Service as well as its Tubular Management Services (TMS) offering.
