Valeo has come a long way since launching operations in China in 1994, in Wenling and Jingzhou. At that time, only 250,000 passenger cars were produced per year in China. 30 years later, the Chinese market is by far the world's largest automotive market, with over 30 million vehicles produced annually. At the same time, China has become Valeo's biggest market, with almost 18,000 employees, 35 plants and 14 R&D centers.

What EV TechDays we had this week in Hungary! ⚡🤯💚 Valeo Service, our entity dedicated to the aftermarket, brought together its Independant AfterMarket customers from all over Europe at our Hungarian site to show them the extent of our electrification offer and our ability to support aftermarket professionals in this major transformation. 🚨Brand new: Valeo Service took advantage of these EV TechDays to announce the launch of ValeoTechAcademy, a training program to improve the skills of independent garages in new electrification and driving assistance technologies. For aftermarket professionals, electrification means new challenges, new skills and specific support. And who better to address them than a world leader in electric mobility? 😉

Can you tell we're having a great time at the IAA Transportation Show? 😁 From yesterday till the 22nd of September, we're presenting at the IAA Transportation show in Hanover, Germany. Watch out for our 48V hybrid systems for vans and other compact utility vehicles, especially for last-mile delivery. Our Valeo Cyclee™ technology for ebikes will be on display as well, incorporating a 48V electric motor, an automatic gearbox and predictive software.

What enthusiasm, energy and pride at our Valeo Innovation Days in Troy, Michigan! We're having a great time showing off our latest hardware and software technologies to our customers and media, and how they are helping to reinvent the future of mobility. Among them: ➡️ Reimagined exterior lighting that features personalization and brand differentiation ➡️ Optimized advanced propulsion and thermal systems in support of internal combustion engines, hybrids and electric vehicles ➡️ Inspired use of sensors and software with Valeo Racer, bringing the outside environment into a video game for riders “Innovation and ingenuity are on full display here! I’m so proud of our team for their creativity and innovation as we help drive our industry forward,” said Valeo North American President Jeffrey Shay. A huge well done to all the teams involved and mobilized!
