📱 In 2019, the Translate4Rail (T4R) project, funded by Shift2Rail (predecessor of the Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking) and initiated by #UICrail and RailNetEurope (RNE), began. In T4R project, a prototype tool based on pre-define messages was developed to assist train drivers and traffic controllers in communication and successfully concluded its initial phase in 2021. https://translate4rail.eu/ Parinaz Bazeghi ➡ Since then, UIC and RNE, with the support of their members, have continued to enhance and test the prototype in various use cases. 💡 On May 28, 2024, the T4RAIL IT-SI project, led by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana and co-financed by the EU under the Interreg Italy-Slovenia programme, was launched. The aim is to test the tool between Italy and Slovenia. This marks a significant milestone as Translate4Rail prototype undergoes operational testing. UIC and RNE support the project and extend our best wishes to members of the project. https://lnkd.in/ebX-BUSQ
