Great to be involved with another fantastic event hosted by Training Ground Guru at St George's Park 🏟 Our Head of Customer Solutions, Tom Goodall, hosted an insightful panel discussion around data science, alongside our guests: Lee Mooney, John-Mark Sisman, and Vignesh Jayanth. Two days of interesting and varied debates on topical issues for the world of football and performance. ⚽

⚽ At SkillCorner, we're consistently working to cover as many leagues as possible - in both men's and women's football. 🇧🇷 Last week, Pedro Nogueira represented SkillCorner at Confut Sudamericana! He had the opportunity to be part of a panel discussing how sports clubs leverage data to enhance performance and improve their scouting workflow. Alongside BRUNO COSTA and Luiz Carlos Azevedo Gonçalves Junior valuable insights on the relevance of establishing clear metrics and KPIs to improve the efficiency of player recruitment and drive long-term goals were shared. The discussion highlighted how data-driven strategies can shape the future of sports management. Our own Tom Goodall will be presenting on this Association of Sporting Directors webinar today at 3pm (UK time). Tom will run through a recruitment scenario from profiling through to shortlisting, demonstrating the art of mapping footballing requirements onto data and selecting the right metrics to identify transfer targets. The SkillCorner team was out in force for our 2024 flagship event for North America on Wednesday in Atlanta, GA: "From Insights to Impact: How soccer analytics professionals can deliver evidence-based strategies to all levels of the organization and drive success on the field" The event started in the afternoon at the Omni Hotels & Resorts with insightful presentations from William Spearman (Liverpool FC) and Alexander Mysiw (Columbus Crew) followed by an absorbing panel discussion with David Bencs (Orlando Magic), Chris Loxston (San Diego Wave) and Stewart Mairs (Mairs Consulting). Our guests then enjoyed dinner and drinks overlooking Truist Park before watching the evening game between the Braves and Philadelphia Phillies. Our team is enjoying delivering regional events like this, bringing relevant, impactful insights to more focused groups, ensuring our guests take away genuine, actionable tips, as well as great food and drinks and a sporting experience. After similar events already in Italy, Spain and Scotland earlier this year, look out for two more to take place in the latter part of this year.
