With both the frequency and severity of natural disasters increasing, prevention and awareness play an increasingly crucial role in ensuring resilience. That’s why the SCOR Foundation for Science partnered with the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) between 2020 and 2023 to fund the development of the LastQuake earthquake App. As well as enabling users to share and access real-time information about earthquakes, LastQuake also provides crucial safety advice if a tsunami is triggered.
