From the floors of the Annecy Design Center to the top of the Aiguille du Midi: Our Creator Summit Experience   This month, the Social Media team at Salomon hosted an incredible 4-day Creator Summit in the picturesque surroundings of Annecy. We welcomed 7 ambassadors and content creators for an adventure filled with creativity, exploration, and unforgettable moments. Highlights included a tour of the Annecy Design Center, participating in a trail running race with a local community running group, hiking to a refuge on the Mont Blanc Massif, and going up the incredible Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix. Take a look at a small selection of photos taken during the event!     A huge shoutout to Kyle DeLong, Sofía Rodriguez, Adrien Marchand, Salomé MOUGEL and Pernille Iversen Gjeldvik who accompanied our talented guests, ensuring a unique and dedicated experience focused on creation.     Thank you to all the ambassadors and content creators - Danielle Lister, Andrea Ference, Frauke Hameister, Shams, Johannes Höhn, Alex Strohl, and Alex Cissé - for joining us and making this summit a memorable one. To commemorate World Cleanup Day, Salomon Global Ambassador Sam Bencheghib and the Sungai Watch team embarked on a mission in Bali’s mountains, removing waste that never belonged in such pristine surroundings. With the help of 170 enthusiastic school children, they successfully cleared 2,211 kg of plastic waste from these beautiful landscapes. While there is still much work to be done to address the region’s waste challenges, each cleanup effort is a crucial step towards eliminating existing waste and educating communities on better waste management practices. Thank you, Sam, for leading this noble mission to protect our planet from plastic. We are immensely proud to support initiatives like these. ♻️

We asked our Para-Team member and Salomon ambassador Boris Ghirardi to take you through the Adaptive Night we organized last week at our Champs Elysées Store in Paris. During the event, we showcased our latest explorative design work in the adaptive space, including two new prosthesis prototypes for winter sports. The feedback and coverage we’ve received since then have been incredible! Our adaptive project team is more motivated than ever to bring these projects to the next step! Video: Erwan Lier

Last Friday, we hosted a special event at our beautiful Champs-Élysées store: The Adaptive Night. Brilliantly introduced by Chief Product Officer Guillaume Meyzenq and powered by Sustainability & Impact Director Marie-Laure Piednoir, the event showcased innovative design work led by Patrick LEICK, Sylvain Merlin, and their teams, focused on making sports more accessible and shifting perceptions of disabilities by highlighting the beauty of design. Our Parateam, composed of 7 amputee brand ambassadors, shared their experiences and feedback after testing two new prototypes that allow them to snowboard and ski again. This inspiring event featured several performances, including a choreography by Fayçal Toumi, a dancer and member of the Salomon Parateam, who was joined by young dancer Leana as she tested a new prototype designed for kids. Zoé Besmond de Senneville—a slam poet who lost her hearing a few years ago and now addresses the topic of invisible disabilities in her work—also performed, wearing a garment composed of Salomon products created during an upcycling workshop at the Annecy Design Center. Join us in reflecting on this meaningful event through these strong pictures taken by Marie Blauwart, and if you're in Paris over the next month, come and discover these innovative prosthetics for yourself at our Champs-Elysées brand store! #Salomon #Innovation #ChangeOurTomorrow

It’s all about creating possibilities for everyone. The Salomon Adaptive project shows how innovation and inclusion can transform sports. By designing groundbreaking prosthetics, we’re enhancing the lives of athletes with disabilities and inspiring new conversations about accessibility.   After months of research and testing with Hopper and Airbus to develop a running prosthetic, Salomon expanded the project to other teams, leading to the creation of ski and snowboard prosthetics and a range of clothing.   Patrick LEICK initiated the Adaptive project at Salomon, and Sylvain Merlin joined him to expand it for winter sports equipment. They will officially present the project and the prosthetics at our Champs-Élysées store today, along with their “Para-Team”, composed of individuals with disabilities.   Join us as we look back on this inspiring project that saw incredible engagement from our employees. Together, we are using the power of design to change perceptions of disability and empower individuals to rediscover the joy of outdoor activities.   Photographers — Marie Blauwart & Loïc Bailliard   #Salomon #Innovation #ChangeOurTomorrow
