À propos

The Ruinart Maison was founded in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. His uncle, a learned Benedictine monk called Dom Thierry Ruinart had an incredible insight. He foretold that this new “wine with bubbles”, developed in his native region of Champagne and which the royal courts of Europe adored, was destined for a bright future. Driven by a constant quest for excellence and the absolute, Ruinart selected chardonnay, a rare and fragile grape variety, as the common thread for all its cuvées.  For nearly three centuries, the Ruinart wines presided over the destiny of the House, which became a benchmark for excellence and elegance in the world of champagne. Today, Ruinart is both a champagne of choice for an international clientele and one of the jewels in the crown of the LVMH group, the world leader in premium wines and spirits. Enjoy Ruinart Responsibly. Forward to those of legal drinking age only. Any user comments which promote inappropriate or excessive alcohol consumption will be removed.

Ruinart gives a voice to art. As part of its 2024 Carte Blanche, the Maison presents the digital “Conversations with Nature” experience, an immersive artistic approach based on artificial intelligence. • Bringing together the artworks of 5 artists from this 2024 edition, the experience powered by artificial intelligence engages in conversations with them. Visitors can directly dialogue with each work of art using their voice to better understand how it was made, the artist’s vision, the story behind it, and the emotions it evokes. As part of #EarthDay, (re)discover some of Ruinart’s initiatives to improve and reduce the environmental impact of its packaging. • ✔️ As early as 2012, Ruinart committed to eco-designing all its packaging. ✔️In 2019, the Maison decided to phase out plastic. ✔️All Ruinart cardboard packaging is FSC-certified, and the wooden gift boxes are made from eco-managed forests. ✔️The Maison created Ruinart Urban Cellar, a reusable case that transforms into a Urban Cellar position to stock bottles of wine and champagne. ✔️In 2020, the Maison launched the second skin case, a conscious alternative for gifting champagne. Plastic free, made of paper and easily recyclable, this case is 9 times lighter than traditional single-bottle boxes, and reduces the packaging carbon footprint by 60%. ✔️ In 2022, the Maison revealed a new interpretation of this innovation with the chalk wrap enveloping Dom Ruinart’s bottles. • This ongoing progress crystallises the Maison’s commitment to sustainability. AIn the past 30 years, the climate in Champagne has warmed up by 1.3°C.
