    Disrupting shoppers is a dangerous business ☠ – as evidenced by heaps and heaps of research over the years, including our own graph on findability time vs purchase rate – the longer it takes for a shopper to find a product, the less likely they are to buy it! 😨 However, if done in the right way, shelf disruption can actually be a benefit – especially to retailers looking to drive greater engagement in the category. 📈 The answer lies in finding that sweet spot between providing just enough new stimulation (or disruption) to pique shopper interest, while minimising the friction and pain points that risk driving confusion and alienation. 👌 Our recent work on the Bourneville brand is a great example of how adopting a more creative and disruptive approach to shelf management paid dividends both for the Bourneville brand but also for the retailer: A Win - Win 🏆 To dig a little bit beneath the surface and get to the ‘why behind the buy’ we carried out our own qualitative Real Life Retail LAB experiment.
