What are the most important skills needed in a post-war economy? While STEM competencies are still crucial, soft skills play an important role in developing societies and economies. These "new hard skills" are important for allowing us to adapt to an ever-changing world and foster leaders for a better future, as explained by Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation. In his conversation with Andreas Schleicher, OECD Director for Education and Skills, he talks about the necessary human element in technological innovation.
