NcodiN

European research institutions have a tremendous potential when it comes to Deeptech technologies. Particularly in France, the presence of a world-class pool of talents, wonderful facilities and a great support from the government make kind of straightforward the valorisation of many years of research through startup creation. Those are amongst the reasons why, at the end of my PhD at C2N - Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies, in 2020, I decided to deep dive into the project NcodiN: our unique optical technology has been matured over more than 15 years of research, and it is now ready to ramp up through to industrialization and commercialization. Today #NcodiN is not just a project anymore: in the space of slightly more than a year, we have created the company, closed a 3.5M€ round and our team will count 15 talents in October. Time runs really fast! Mardi NcodiN a annoncé une levée de 3.5m€ auprès d'Elaia, Earlybird Venture Capital et OVNI Capital pour révolutionner le secteur des processeurs Pour ceux qui veulent aller plus loin qu'un article de presse, Matthieu Stefani a tourné avec Francesco le 20e épisode d'OVNIs cet après midi. Il raconte comment il a rencontré son associé Bruno Garbin dans un labo, quelles sont leurs ambitions, les coulisses de leur levée de fonds. On continue à " construire en public " avec vous et plusieurs milliers d'auditeurs ont écouté nos contenus en mai. Today is a day of great joy and pride. I am extremely happy to share that at NcodiN we closed a 3.5M€ round to accelerate the development of our breakthrough optical technology. When I created #NcodiN with my associates Bruno and Fabrice last year, we could not imagine how far we would have gone in such a short amount of time. This achievement is the result of our hard work, passion and commitment. And it is just the beginning!! We are quickly structuring a world class team: one year ago we were just 3 founders and by the end of this year we will be 5 times bigger! So proud to see as many talents sharing our vision and joining us: together, I am sure that we will build a wonderful company. With the capital raised, we are going to scale even further our R&D and product teams, develop our 1st product generation and start the pre-industrialization of our unique technology, to continue our journey towards its massive adoption within #AI-dedicated processors.
