Amazon Vendors have some exciting news! Amazon has introduced a new "group by" attribute in their reporting API, offering enhanced geo-level 🌎🌎 insights for orders. This update to the Vendor Analytics dataset now includes location attributes at the: • Country level • City level • State or province level What does this mean for brands? -Improved visibility on where products are sold -Better geographical sales analysis -Targeted marketing opportunities For example: a beer brand can now track sales across different French departments, analyze variations over time, and correlate with weather patterns. At this point, there are more than 200 retail media networks, according to mimbi - Retail Media Intelligence, a retail media intelligence platform. Companies seem determined to turn every digital surface into an ad opportunity pushing to trade/shopper dollars in addition to national media investments.
