    Kering is proud to announce that Jinqing Cai, President of Kering Greater China, has been honored with the title 'Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Mérite,' one of the highest civilian distinctions awarded by the French government. The medal ceremony took place at the Embassy of France in China on September 27th, with the ambassador Bertrand Lortholary presiding, acknowledging Jinqing Cai's significant contributions to the industry and the enhancement of Franco-Chinese business relations. This prestigious award is testament to the remarkable work Jinqing does and is a powerful reflection of Kering's leadership presence in China and the active role we play in the luxury fashion community there.

    Following her appointment as Kering’s Deputy CEO for Brand Development in 2023, Saint Laurent President and CEO Francesca Bellettini became one of the most prominent leaders of the luxury industry.    Reflecting on her journey, she told The Business of Fashion "Little by little, I fell in love with creativity. And I saw the beauty for a manager of being able to work next to creativity, to support it and make it become a business.     Kering unveils the second season of its 'Fashion Our Future' podcast, delving deeper into the sustainability initiatives and designers that are reshaping the landscape of the fashion industry. This season sees Kering joining forces with content creator and author Andrea Cheong. Known for her efforts to educate about ethical fashion and promote conscious consumerism, she brings valuable expertise and fresh perspective to sustainability to the podcast. Andrea will be joined by guests from grassroot activists to gamechangers within the world of luxury, to provide in-depth and candid insight into the challenges and opportunities that the industry faces today. The first 3 episodes focus on the contributions of artisans who are integrating heritage to their current practices and reshaping modern luxury. Dr. Valerie Steele, director of the Fashion Museum at the Fashion Institute of TechnologyEmily Adams Bode, founder of the menswear brand Bode and designer Ksenia Schnaider sit down with Andrea Cheong to discuss 'What makes luxury truly valuable.'
