Our Renault Master Van H2-TECH with its new H2 architecture, has just received approval from CNRV, the French organization delivering European certifications.
Homologation tests have been realized with the support of UTAC, certified by CNRV and with a strong know-how of H2 specific regulations.
This new H2 architecture allows to move forward on the road to hydrogen mobility:
➡️ Installation of tanks in the chassis, allowing new conversions and new diversity
➡️ Installation of the fuel cell in the engine bay and electrical box, allowing more payload
➡️ A new HMI (Human Machine Interface) allowing a better vision of H2 range
Tests undertaken for all vehicle features represent major challenges for the HYVIA engineering teams and those of the UTAC teams: mass and dimension 1230/2012, dynamic behavior (R13 braking and stability control, acoustic (exterior noise R51, Hydrogen system safety UNR-134 (leak test, H² sensor reactivity and HMI warning, H² exhaust concentration, tanks sled test), hydrogen material compatibility CE2021/535,…
With no compromise about H2 safety, at the best level.
Congratulations to HYVIA engineering teams and UTAC teams!
And of course, to our partner PVI - Renault Group, strongly engaged in HYVIA projects since 2021.
