[#Kineisconstellation] Launched on June 20, the first five satellites of the Kinéis constellation are now in space and their in-flight validation is ongoing. In collaboration with Kinéis and CNES, HEMERIA is strongly involved in the validation of the satellite platform and its equipment with three employees working at the control center. As of today most of the equipment has been tested - The solar arrays and the antennas of the five satellites are well deployed. - The TM/TC communication is working. - The Attitude Control System is successfully activated in nominal mode - And our team is now working on the commissioning of the propulsion units   All these validations allow to move on. HEMERIA is proud to contribute to this adventure. With this project, our HP-IOT product is becoming a reality in space. 𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙏 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙀𝘿 ! 🥳 HEMERIA will develop in collaboration with the French space agency CNES two high-end small satellites flying in pair and dedicated to cloud observation. Following a successful “A” phase consisting in technical trade-offs, HEMERIA will now design and deliver both satellites, each of them implementing a set of 5 instruments. Among them, 2 cloud imagers, one per satellite, by doing a sequence of simultaneous images of the same cloud will enable CNES and research laboratories to analyse 3D cloud expansion by using stereoscopy technique. The launch is scheduled for early 2027. The project involves about 25 people within HEMERIA. It strengthens the commercial success of our portfolio of smallsat generic platforms and our know-how in Earth Observation. [#NUMBEROFTHEMONTH] 👀 Do you know how many parts HEMERIA’s team assembled per KINEIS smallsat? 🧐 At HEMERIA, our teams meticulously assembled 559 parts in total for every KINEIS smallsat. Indeed, to ensure the production of our smallsats, HEMERIA’s team has the responsibility to integrate many different small parts that play a crucial role in the overall success of the constellation deployment. To finalize the KINEIS constellation, our dedicated teams in our clean room are actively manufacturing the remaining 20 nanosats.
