As a UE-born pioneer in the field of food biomanufacturing, we were delighted to see yesterday's published “Communication on Biotech and Biomanufacturing” by the European Commission. It is very encouraging and a long awaited signal for our industry to witness the Commission set out an ambitious vision for Biotech and Biomanufacturing in Europe.
