Solidarity is Networking We are thrilled to announce that over 30 German localities joined our 2nd Information Session, showcasing their remarkable efforts to support Ukraine. We extend our heartfelt thanks for their solidarity and support. In response to the challenges faced by German localities, Europe Prykhystok focused on FUNDING as the core subject of this event. Mrs. Daryna Ilienko, the referent from Berlin Pankow, along with the referent from Unity Center U.A., shared invaluable insights from their experience in organizing Fundraising Campaigns. Europe Prykhystok warmly invites all German localities currently seeking funds for organizing respite stays or transplanted classes to take advantage of our consulting services. We assist in researching and networking with local institutions, such as NGOs or banks, committed to supporting Ukraine and investing in the rehabilitation of war-affected children. Together, we can make a difference! #Solidarity #Networking #SupportUkraine #EuropePrykhystok #Fundraising #CommunitySupport

3rd Respite Stay for Children from the Lviv Oblast in Occitania We had the pleasure of meeting in Lviv for the 3rd consecutive year with representatives from the Occitania region and the City of Montpellier. For this edition, we assisted the Occitania region and the City of Montpellier in organizing a respite stay from July 4 to 19 for 42 Ukrainian children aged 8 to 13, in direct collaboration with the Lviv Oblast. The children will spend their stay in La Grande-Motte at the 3MTKD leisure center by the Mediterranean Sea. A rich program of activities has been prepared: swimming, tree climbing, karaoke, archery, golf, and many others. They left Lviv by bus to catch a flight in Krakow. This initiative offers these children an opportunity to have fun and breathe away from the war, fostering new friendships and discovering a new culture. The current situation in Ukraine is particularly intense with constant air raid alerts, frequent bombings, and only a few hours of electricity per day. We thank the Occitania Region, the City of Montpellier, the 3MTKD Sport Culture Social association, the Lviv Oblast, the City of Frontignan, the City of La Grande-Motte, and all the people involved in this project. We hope this summer will provide these children with moments of peace and joy, far from the horrors of war.

Member of advisory committee of Europe Prykhystok took part in Ukraine recovery conference Stanislav Kutsenko took part in Ukraine recovery conference in Berlin on June 11-12, 2024 (URC2024). Among the participants of URC2024 were the top-ranking authorities of EU and Ukraine, delegates from USA and other states. Main issues raised at conference were economic recovery, growth and resilience of Ukraine.  During conference it was great possibility to establish contacts with more than 50 new partners, particularly, in Germany and Switzerland concerning organizing further respite stays and transplanted classes for Ukrainian children. Certain mayors of European cities expressed their interest to host Ukrainian children in upcoming months.  Most valuable was contact with Congress of German cities (Deutscher Stadtetag). Deutscher Stadtetag expressed strong support in activities of EP in building bridges of solidarity and organizing respite stays for Ukrainian children. Representatives of this organization plan to share information about Europe Prykhystok with its member cities. Additional subject of meetings was assistance in shelters construction near frontline schools and in unoccupied regions of Ukraine. Several potential donors from Holland and Germany expressed interest in recovery of schools. Such events are great possibility for EP to enlighten its initiatives to help Ukrainian children and establish more twinning between EU and Ukrainian cities and hromadas. #EuropePrykhystok #SupportUkraine #GermanCities #RespiteStay #Fundraising #CommunityBuilding
