Marketing Strategist @Modeo | ESSEC Beauty Chair 2023-24 | Marketing and Communication

It's been an incredible 2 years in France and 9 months with the dynamic team at Modeo, where I've had the opportunity to work and develop myself in 2 languages. While it’s been a learning curve, the experience has been immensely rewarding as well. As quickly as time has flown by, I’m excited to share my experience with the ESSEC BEAUTY CHAIR, which began 6 months ago. What started as an indulgence in my passion for beauty has transformed into awe for the expanse of métiers (within and beyond MarComm) I was able to explore and the challenges I faced and overcame. I got to work on some exciting projects with our esteemed partners. Those with IFF (including the field trip immersion) highlighted their innovative upcycling of nature’s finest ingredients, catalyzing change in the beauty and personal care industry. These insights, along with those from The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.'s earned media communication and marketing strategies, as well as MARIONNAUD's pioneering CRM and loyalty programs, have been invaluable in shaping my expertise and orientation within the industry. I want to take a moment to thank the entire ESSEC Beauty Chair team – Cynthia Decant , Marc Mazodier, Veronique Drecq, and Céline L., as well as our lecturers Pascal Pollet and Anne-Sophie Sauvage✨ . I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to be part of and contribute to this year’s promotion. The work you have done continues to inspire more students and send waves across the beauty industry. This journey wouldn't have been the same without the wonderful people who made it special. Working with this year’s talented and creative cohort was an honour (shoutout to All the students involved) - from brainstorming sessions to executing strategies, I will truly miss collaborating with such a dedicated group :’) Ending on a note about a painting that caught my eye during the field trip to Grasse - The Roses of Heliogabalus (Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, 1888) depicts a beautiful “calm before the storm”- the themes of hedonism and the power of roses tie to my belief that mindful consumption is crucial, for both individuals and industries. As my journey with the ESSEC Beauty Chair has come to an end, this experience has only reinforced this conviction. #ESSECBeautyChair #IFF #EsteeLauderCompanies #Marionnaud

Assistant Product Manager @ Marionnaud | Ex-L'Oréal | ESSEC Beauty Chair | ESSEC Leadership and Diversity Chair

Hello everyone! I am super excited to share the culmination of my incredible 6-month journey with the ESSEC BEAUTY CHAIR! Throughout this period, I had the immense opportunity to work on various projects for our esteemed partner companies: The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., MARIONNAUD and IFF. Each project was a unique learning experience that broadened my understanding and passion for the beauty and fragrance industry. For my field project, my team was tasked with creating two innovative concepts—one for fine fragrance and one for scented body care—that align with the rising trend of neo-hedonism. As someone deeply fascinated by the world of fragrance, this project was a delight to work on and an incredible learning opportunity. A special thank you to my amazing team members Rébecca Andreo, Anina Saji and YANTING LV for all our shared moments; the dedicated team at IFF who provided us with this exciting project Bernardo Fleming, Erika Campagnaro and Caroline Prince Rossignol. Your guidance and support were invaluable. And of course, a special shoutout to Cynthia Decant, our wonderful mentor. I would also like to extend my gratitude to our partners, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and MARIONNAUD, not only for the diverse and enriching projects amd case studies but also the time and effort you have provided each of us with in the last 6 months. These experiences have significantly shaped my perspective and skills. To my team members from most of the other projects Nandha Chettiam Tharammal, Anina Saji, Yuqi ZU, Qijun Xu, Xuan Chang, thank you for your collaboration and hard work. And lastly, a heartfelt thank you to our teachers Marc Mazodier, Pascal Pollet and Veronique Drecq for their mentorship and support throughout this journey. I can’t wait to see what new heights the chair reaches in the future! Thank you all for playing 🕹️
