Pioneer in its field, Echosens significantly changed the practice of liver diagnosis with FibroScan®, the first non-invasive solution to assess and monitor patients with chronic liver disease. We are a team of 300 people across the world and 9 international sites, including the headquarter in Paris, and more than 50 distributors enabling millions of liver examinations worldwide. Today 3,500 publications advocate FibroScan®. Since 20 years, we are continuously innovating for liver health.

The genesis Before becoming a company Echosens was an idea... This idea was that we could measure the elasticity of soft biological tissues. In 2001, we discovered its life-changing application for assessing liver disease…Echosens was born. Our commitment to innovation 30% of our revenue is invested in R&D on a yearly basis. When it comes to chronic liver disease assessment and monitoring, our team has a proven track record of 14 years (and counting!) of research and innovation.
