🌱 Promoting Innovation and Sustainability in Agriculture! On 19 August 2024, our President, Mr. Francesco Mattina, represented the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) at a significant international seminar in 🇹🇭Thailand, alongside key figures from the agricultural sector. The event, organised by IPKey_EU South-East Asia, saw the participation of representatives from the EU Delegation to Thailand, Ms.Yolanda Huerta from International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV), and Representative of the Thai Seed Trade Association (THASTA), as well as Thor Kofoed from COPA COGECA. Mr. Mattina highlighted the vital role of the Community Plant Variety Rights (CPVR) system in boosting the 🇪🇺EU's economy and protecting the environment. This event underscored the importance of plant variety protection in achieving sustainable development goals.
