🌍 CMA CGM at the Nice Climate Summit 2024! 🌍   On September 26th and 27th, CMA CGM is at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice for the 2nd edition of this major international event, organized by La Tribune and dedicated to tackling climate change and protecting biodiversity.  As the official partner of the event, CMA CGM will join over 2,000 participants, including scientists, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and NGOs, to explore innovative solutions around the theme: " Protecting the ocean, safeguarding humanity".   Anne-Sophie Cochelin, CSR Director CMA CGM, took part today in the panel “Maritime transport: a necessary revolution”, along with other leaders of the industry.   Missed the opportunity? 🚢 CMA CGM expands its presence in South Of America! The group is taking a strategic leap by acquiring c.48% of Santos Brasil, a key multi-terminal operator in Brazil. This acquisition greatly strengthens CMA CGM’s presence in Brazil, especially at the Port of Santos, home to Tecon Santos, the largest container terminal in South America. This investment further expands the group's regional presence and positions it as a major player in Brazilian logistics and terminal operations. This acquisition not only expands CMA CGM’s position in the logistics and terminal sectors but also reflects a long-term commitment to fostering growth and operational excellence in Brazil. Plans are in place to enhance terminal capacity and improve service quality for Santos Brasil’s customers while providing professional growth opportunities for staff members. Additionally, CMA CGM will collaborate with Brazilian regulatory bodies to further develop port infrastructure, positioning Brazil as a key logistics hub. This acquisition marks a major milestone in the group’s ongoing global expansion strategy, with a focus on developing sustainable, high-performance terminal operations. 🇵🇪 ¡Récord en Perú! 🇵🇪 The APL FULLERTON becomes the largest vessel to dock at the Port of Callao, setting a new milestone for maritime trade in the region. 🏆 With an impressive capacity of 16,297 TEUs, the vessel enhances CMA CGM's ACSA 1 service, demonstrating our commitment to expanding and improving logistical efficiency.
