Making the purest and most delicious ciders has been our commitment from the start and we are therefore thrilled to receive another prestigious recognition from the Guild of Fine Food for our latest cuvée, Galipette Doux. Our fourth Great Taste -award was commented by the judges: ⭐ ⭐ A really lovely golden shade in the glass, with light lacing. Deeply appley on the palate, with a lovely roundedness and a mouthfeel that belies the light ABV, feeling more impactful than this suggests, helped along by the tannic grip. ⭐ ⭐ On the palate the sweetness is well met, with some acidity and some tannin, and all working in harmony together. This delivers as a complete drink with body and complexity, and at 2.2 that is remarkable. ⭐ ⭐ The flavour is satisfying, rounded, clean and has some complexity. We think it is astonishing for its 2.2 ABV - it feels weightier and fuller than that would suggest. Certainly a very well-achieved low alcohol cider, easy to enjoy. The traditional cidre doux is a staple in both cultural and culinary scenes, and has been part of the French cider tradition throughout its history. Galipette Doux is now available in France and the UK and we are excited to introduce it to new markets soon.

Our beloved stubby bottle tends to trigger a sense of nostalgia and according to many it is reminiscent of an old apple juice bottle in grandma’s cellar 🍎, or a container from the apothecary. The bottle together with the label is indeed a comfortable balance between heritage cues and modernity, the familiar and the distinctive. Beyond the aesthetic, the stubby also has the functional benefit of demanding less space in transport and being lighter thanks to the short neck compared to the standard long neck bottles. And that’s not all… We're excited to share an outstanding achievement of our bespoke stubby bottle - it now contains up to 93% recycled glass content ♻, setting a new sustainability benchmark across Europe. In contrast, standard bottles in Europe use 52% recycled glass on average. This difference is significant as it means that for every 10% of recycled glass used, we cut energy consumption by 2.5% and reduce CO2 emissions by 3.5%. NEWS! Introducing Galipette Rosé Non Alc (0.3%). If summer could be captured in a can, it would taste pretty similar to this Cidre. The thirst-quenching drink is made of rare, red-fleshed Pommes à Chair Rouge, that gives its authentic rosé colour, character and the taste. Suitable for all day occasions from lunch to picnics and lazy days by the poolside🌅. We are excited to unveil this new product with our partners that include Ocado Retail Ltd of the UK and Royal Unibrew in Scandinavia during Q1 2024.
