We are proud to have Chester Twigg, Group Commercial Officer, represent BIC as the opening speaker giving welcoming remarks and as a panelist at the upcoming 2024 Americas Edition of “Break the Ceiling, Touch the Sky” success and leadership summit for women. BIC was also one of three companies selected to present during a session on best business practices. Hannah Vallerie, SPHR, Director of HR Group Commercial, will present an overview of our #DEI programming. BIC also supported the event as a Silver Sponsor.     Last week, we celebrated a remarkable milestone as our BIC Violex plant in Athens, Greece, marked its 50th anniversary. Established in 1952 and officially part of the BIC family since 1974, this incredible facility has grown to become our largest blade excellence production unit worldwide, producing an astounding 25 million shavers per week and home to over 1,500 dedicated #TeamBIC members. In the words of CEO Gonzalve Bich, BIC Violex is “a beacon of innovation and excellence, a cornerstone of our global shaver production, and a testament to our enduring commitment to quality. The next 50 years hold great promise and potential, and we will continue to innovate, adapt, and grow, building upon our legacy of excellence.” Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this a truly memorable celebration!     The BIC Creators series continues with Ivorian artist Josué Comoe, an artist who discovered his passion for art later in life. Josué, who describes himself as a quiet person, found a powerful canvas to express his thoughts and emotions within his art. For him, the creative process is not just about making something visually appealing; it is a profound way of discovering and being true to oneself. "The very exercise of creation is about finding yourself," Josué shares. "Each time we encounter a new part of ourselves." In his creative process, Josué mixes different inks to develop textures that bring his vision to life. He finds BIC pens particularly fascinating for their straightforward and accessible nature.
