#event Last week, Jenna MIR participated in the 6th Renewable Energy and Storage Forum organized by energypress.gr in #Athens, from October 31 to November 1. This event brought together leaders from the Ministry of Energy, institutional and regulatory bodies, and representatives from both academia and the business sector. The discussions covered critical topics such as solar energy, energy storage, hydrogen, and offshore wind in #Greece. With Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis and Deputy Minister Alexandra Sdoukos present, the conversations emphasized the strategic significance of these areas for our energy future. 🌍⚡️ The event was a success, generating such high demand that all available spots for in-person attendance were filled. 🌬️A major milestone for #offshorewind in #France was accomplished these days! For the first time, the government has published a 🗺map of priority zones for offshore wind development, setting an ambitious course toward 45 GW by 2050. Ministers Olga Givernet and Fabrice Loher introduced this long-term roadmap with a strategic 10-year outlook, and the next big step: the “AO10” tender, targeting 9.2 GW across key maritime areas. At AVENTA, we celebrate this pivotal moment for industry growth and national goals. Meeting these targets will require timely tenders, strengthened project standards, and expanded port infrastructure. #event The "C'est pas que du vent" hackathon, organized by WEAMEC, was a resounding success! Over two days, 48 enthusiastic students from nine master's programs at Centrale Nantes and Nantes Université formed six teams and worked intensively to design the Marine Renewable Energy Park of the Future. 🚀 We had the privilege of participating in the EVOLEN Annual Conference, a two-day event packed with discussions on the energy transition. With engaging plenaries, workshops, and insightful debates, the event was a true showcase of collaboration and innovation.
