• ok work christianity is very damaging to lots of people but as @marsincharge said and LOTS of other Black Americans keep telling y’all … white people straight up torched our churches, bombed them, attacked them, used them as shooting ranges (AND STILL DO LELKEK) just on the basis of us being Black christians it’s! Like, I’m sorry you were forced to go to church and I’m sorry about your issues with christianity but y’all are gonna stop lumping Black folks in with the very same people that would see us and the way we worship killed off entirely. Like, most of the Black churches down south have an entire history built on the fact that they were destroyed at some point by white supremacists! The church I grew up in was literally bombed out in the sixties, and there’s so many other churches that have had this same experience … So just! Be careful with how you talk about christianity and christians b/c a) There’s Race Involved and b) There’s Race Involved …
