The Rat Prince slipped through the shadows of the palace he once toiled in as a nameless boy, his scarred hands clutching the pin that would sever chains tonight. Sold as a child, forgotten by freedom, he had returned—no longer a slave, but a savior. Whispers of his rebellion slithered through the city in the dark, and his people waited. Soon, the tyrant would know: no cage could ever hold a rat that learned to gnaw.
